Westchester County, NY has discontinued funding to its museums. Here is a petition to save the Ward Pound Ridge Trailside Nature Museum…where I spent my childhood as a volunteer.
It was such a magical and interesting place…where I learned so much about our wonderful natural world. It also houses a Deleware Indian Study Center that recorded the language of the Lenai Lenape peoples.
Good things like this should not pass away.
