Princess and the Stars

Last night, I was chatting with the princess about movies she had seen, when she asked if stars were really the spirits of the dead. She was serious. I had tried to explain about stars once before. This time I had John do it with videos from the internet. Still not sure she understood most…

Vacation and Dinosaurs

I am on vacation this week. Instead of writing, I am praying and reading books…though today I played LIFE with the talking boys.   The Cherubim asked to go back to Boy Scouts this morning. I had to tell him we couldn't do that. He just walked by carrying for large dinosaurs and smiling.

Here is a review of my short story in Coliseum Morpheuon: Anthology of Dreams And finally, there is L. Jagi Lamplighter's "Foot-sore Angel" – a disillusioned angel walks in trench-coat through a desolate dreamscape, igniting cigarettes with his flickering halo and seeking redemption. And as dreams border all worlds, not just fantasy worlds, a bit…

Summer Joy–Pool for a Win

So, we live in a community that has a charming pool–which is, luckily, in driving distance. For years, I've wanted to spend the summers enjoying the pool…but it never worked out. The boys were just too unruly, too wild, too unhappy during the manditory 15 minute breaks. For years, they would go off the diving…

Car Woes

Our wonderful gray van needs more done in repairs than we paid for it. We do not have the means to repair or replace it at this particular time. If anyone knows of a very inexpensive minivan, let us know. ;-)
