1) Read their books — most of all, what we authors want is for our stories–our ideas we have slaved to get onto paper/computer–to be shared and enjoyed.
2) Buy their books.
3) Share their books — Word of mouth is the main way people learn about books they want to read. Tell your friends about the books you love!
4) Ask your local library to buy their books — libraries often take requests and are a great source of sales for authors.
5) Borrow their books from the library — the library is more likely to buy an author's later books if the earlier ones seem to be in demand.
